George & Alicia's Engagement Session at the Seattle Pier
George & Alicia were on a business trip in West Washington when they decided last minute to book a photographer to capture their engagement photos. I was that lucky photographer and am so happy I had the pleasure of making their photos!
Everything was pretty last minute for these two. Alicia had purchased her dress just the day before, 30 minutes prior to the local mall closing. A close call, for sure!
The weather hadn’t been pretty leading up to this photoshoot. Seattle and most of West Washington was victim to a long-lasting snow storm, leaving piles of snow across everything for the most part. This day was probably the first completely sunny day in weeks ( winter had been completely cloudy, day after day).
I met up with the couple and instantly admired their attire. Gee, were they well dressed! Their connection and love radiated through them, and I immediately knew the photos would turn out amazing.
Poor Alicia was hit with cold wind throughout the entire shoot. Being in the middle of February didn’t help, but luckily the sun was glaring at us, giving at least a little warmth.
I gave this amazing couple little guidance and just let them be themselves as they stayed close to each other to keep warm. I’ve never seen a couple laugh so much amongst each other as these two did. You can tell they were in love and completely happy.
I had the pleasure of capturing their engagement photos, and I’d love to share some of my favorite captures below!
Let’s just say, Alicia must’ve been pretty cold! George offered his jacket to her throughout the shoot.
I told you they were well dressed! She’s a trooper with those heels as we walked across the bumpy pier.
So many laughs throughout their shoot! Can you feel their connection too?
Told you, so many laughs!
What a perfect shot (I didn’t even tell him to point)!
These two are straight out of a magazine.
Just look at the way they look at each other!
So many breathtaking captures during George & Alicia’s engagement photography session. Congrats to these two and good luck as they continue to plan for their September, 2020 wedding on the East Coast.
At least they can cross ‘engagement photos’ off their list of wedding to-do’s!
